GREY-9th ride this morning!

Today was "Grey's" 9th ride and he did very well. We did reining, poles, barrels, loping, water, etc. Here we are practicing our ground tying skills-A++ I left him for awhile and walked away pretty far~I zoomed in for the picture. I just LOVE a horse that ground ties.

Look no hands! He is not at all bothered by this! Right before she took the picture his ears were back listening to me!

Today we introduced the ball to him, no problem he says! My lovely little assistant rolls it into him from all sides and underneath-A++! And of course she takes alittle time to play while doing it!

My little assistant insisted on taking a picture of me and "Grey!!" I'm thinking he may also be alittle bit of a ham!!! LOL!

Little assistant climbs abroad to help with the cool down! She's also sporting a new gap~she lost another tooth this morning! Excuse the sweat! It was hot and the humidity was high this morning!

*Last but not least** This is for you Susan (aka Painted Promise)~I finally remembered to take a picture of the neighbor's donkeys for you! Right before I took the picture they were just a playing with each other! They sure are curious little boogers!!!

Look at you standing on that horse!! Holy smokes! I always have trouble with that. I get vertigo real easily, so I am impressed!
You girls are so pretty and so is that grey. You can hop down now and send him to me. I love a nice grey horse like that :)

Great pics, looks like he's coming along perfectly and you're having fun at it too. Love it!!

I love the way a colt reacts to a ball the first time they see it. Looks like he's coming along great, want another one to ride?:)

Mikey & Linda~thanks so much for the complaints! He really is a sweet horse! I don't know if the owner would like his horse being that far away!! Hehehe! LOL! I'm having alot of fun with him! It is alot of work, but I try and make everything fun! Uh no, I don't need another one to ride! Thanks though! This week ours have had a break, next week back at it with them too! So I will be riding at least 3 sometimes 4 a day! I told hubby this morning I would be sad to see him go when I get done!

You're brave to stand on his back! Looks like fun, but I just couldn't convince myself that I wasn't going to fall off, or something...

He's a good boy! Sounds pretty bomb proof.... How old his he?

LOL Just look at you guys out there!!! Way to GO!! He is a handsome horse. Bet his owner just loves looking him over!

Hey- I sent you an email about the Ruger too just now and it got bounced back. WOuld you mind shooting me one please? BECG does not know a dealer in SD to ship it to- we have to ship it for the FFL transfer to a lisc. dealer, and I wanted to give you the details on that.

Ok, now you're scaring me. You are so brave!
The donkeys are so sweet looking and Alaina would be in her element there.
I'm not sure how she got horses in her blood, but she's been this way since birth! LOL!
What she wouldn't give to live near you guys.....

Ok just checkin... I got a "failure" in my email. I thought you rejected my comment! sniff sniff!

Love that horse - and you've also got a very special "assistant" there, too.

Love it. Yep, I have no 'guts' to stand on a horse. I am still proud of myself if I make it on a ride and stay on. Again, love it...

Wow.. that is so great of Grey.
Good job. I wished I had the time to ride more than my few times a month.

Hey Mikey, I get vertigo too every so often and it strikes me sometimes at the oddest times.
