Award & comment moderation

Thanks to Midlife Mom for my award! I think she pretty much tagged everybody already! She created this award for all the horse lovers out there! If you would like it take a copy or visit her site to get it. She has 2 different styles!

On another note I am having to enable my comment moderation. The last few posts I have gotten less than desirable sites making comments. All they say are click here or see this. I did and was appalled at what it was. My sister has done a post on her blog about the same thing. I know I am not the only one out there with this and wonder why on earth would anyone do that. It is really irritating and upsetting thinking some ones child could have accidentally clicked on one of those. Savannah loves to read the comments with me and I would be horrified if she had seen them. Sorry if this causes any problems for anyone, but I wanted to let you all know and keep a look out for these creeps!

Congrats on your award..... I grabbed it from Midlife Mom and featured it in a post giving her credit due and now passed it along to three others. What a good idea she has. And what a shame you had less than desirable commenters on your site. Probably spammers, gotto watch 'em.

I often wonder if people just don't have enough to do concerning the spam thing.

What a bummer about the comments! I had one or two last year when I first started, but just deleted them and they never came back. That's one thing Wordpress has over Blogger; they have a spam catcher :)

I'm waiting for creepy things to begin to appear after your trip. If you delve deep enough at Carpenter Creek, you'll find all sorts of strange things; just search for creepy!

Comment Moderation is completely understandable. I know that Mikey does that too. It doesn't bother us one bit & if we ever get questionable stuff, we will moderate too.

So sorry you got some undesirable comments. That is just so discouraging when you just want a nice clean blog and blogger friends. I haven't had that happen yet and I am so thankful! The only thing I had happen was someone posted our tax bill for our property!!! Go figure!!!

My first visit here. Love the music. I shall have to do some reading of this blog to catch up. I had spam problems but they have disappeared since I went over to Wordpress. Good luck.

I have comment moderation on for the same reason. I couldn't believe some of the stuff I was getting. And unfortunately, I get them on a regular basis.

That is so sad that people try to ruin good things for us. Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed your blog.

Don't click on anything that has a link in the comment section. These usually come with a virus attached to them.
