Jordan Family visits!

Me and my sister and her 2 youngest kids Barnabas and Jeremiah!
My sister and her family came in from GA on Thursday and left on Sunday after church. We stayed out at my Dad's lake house and just had a blast! There were 7 kids and 4 adults! They all got along great! The kids played, took boat rides, golf cart rides, rode scooters, played with Shelby and just had fun. On Saturday we came out to our house and everyone rode the horses! They all did a great job! Nehemiah there oldest really took to riding and roping. He told Dickie he wanted to take a horse home! I even got my sister on a horse! She was alittle nervous at first, but got the hang of it! Savannah & Hadassah found a snake in the barn, so we stopped riding to kill the snake. When Dickie pulled it out of the barn, they all had to see! Then one of the boys asked what the inside of the snakes stomach looks like! So without hesitation Dickie cut open the snake and we had a science lesson right there in the pasture! Needless to say I think we probably won the coolest aunt and uncle award! LOL! We are really glad they got to come out and ride and take in the country life! On Sunday they visited our church, and left for GA right after. We had a great time and made lots of memories!! Here are some pictures from our weekend. I hope to get caught up on each of you over the next few days!

Being silly! The "girls" Hadassah, Savannah, Deborah and Shelby!
Shelby had a great time and was just as tired as the kids! They played K-9 hide and seek with her and just loved it! They loved to play fetch with her and see what she could jump!

Savannah, Nehemiah, Dickie My sister on a horse, along with Nehemiah and Hadassah! Great job sis!
The snake! Group picutre after church!

What fun!! In seven years I have managed to get Chris on a horse exactly twice. He did awesome as well, but just hasn't taken to it - but if I could just get him roping...
Gotta love making the coolest aunt and uncle list!!
On a side note - I cannot get your site to link on my page have you had this problem with anyone else?

I HATE snakes!!! Got chased by a copperhead once out in the pasture and my Arabian mare saved my life - she came tearing up the pasture and stomped on it, killing it.
Looks like all y'all had a fabulous time together!! :)

What a fun time with your sister and her family!! Cherished memories!! My brother and his wife and kids lived far away and we got together usually once a year and it was so much fun. I will always cherish those memories, as will our children. Glad you took lots of pictures! Your niece and nephew will be talking about the "snake" story for a long long time!!

What a wonderful time for the cousins to have together! These are things they will never forget. What kind of snake was that? Yikes! That would have scared me out of my wits to have one in the barn!!!

It was a chicken snake. It was huge! It is a first for us to have one in the barn. But I have a hen sitting in there and he was there for the eggs!
