SNOWING IN EAST TEXAS!!

What does a little cowgirl do with the snow on her hat? Lick it off of course!

It is snowing here in East Texas, not unusual or uncommon for some places. But in East Texas we do not get that much snow! To quote my daughter "Thank you God for giving us snow!" She has been praying for snow for awhile! Well, here are a few pics from when we went to feed a few minutes ago. The horses are feeling good and had to show off there bucking skills. Hope you enjoy the pics and have a great and blessed weekend!!!

I wish she could see our piles of snow here, it would be way over her head where they have plowed it out of the way! I still love to see the snow coming down even after all these years! I wonder if I will ever tire of it?? Doubt it! I'll have the only wheelchair with skis on it! Your horses seem to like the crisp air, ours buck and act out when it's first cold too. Hope you're having a good weekend!!

I like your blog and your horses and family photos. I thought I had subscribed to it but lately not even Dell computers work right. LOL.

I like your dog too. Horses and dogs are my favorite animals. I rode horses once in 1952 on a ranch in the White Mountains of Show Low, Arizona. Mostly riding fence or building a line cabin or repairing one. Not much fun, and no girls and I was really young then. LOL

Show Low, Arizona was then famous (to me) for a donut they called, Spud Nuts. Wow. They were good.

Thanks for visiting my place to day and your visit reminded me I got to subscribe to your feed again.

Yeah! Looks like you had fun. We got some snow here in Georgia, too. Being from the Midwest, I love a good snowfall. Just glad I don't have to endure 2 or 3 months of the stuff!
