Well the last couple of days have been girl time around here! My husband left on Thursday to go help one of our friends with his cattle. He is coming back late this evening. While my husband has been gone we have been having "girl time" as Savannah calls it. We have watched a girlie movie, went on a trail ride with a couple of friends. And I have had a few nights off cooking supper! We went today with a few friends on a trail ride on a ranch in our area. Me, Savannah, L.D. and Mary had a great time. The weather was great and the scenery was beautiful as was the great fellowship! We have enjoyed our "girl time" but we both are ready for Daddy to come home! Hope you all are having a great weekend!

Sounds like y'all had a great time enjoying your "girl time!!" It is always nice to be able to spend time like that but I am sure you will be glad to have your husband here soon, too. ;)
What a great way to spend a few days to yourselves, though. Nothing like kicking back and relaxing for a bit. :)
PS. I checked out the link to your church. That sounds like an amazing church!! Very different than the regular church gathering but I like how your church fits in with the culture around it. Sounds like y'all are a big family there! :)

We do have a great church! Everyone is great there, it is a very homey feeling church. They are doing some work on the website right now, be sure and check back in a month or so.

Hey what a great time having Girl Time riding! That's the best!! I rode bareback Saturday and managed to stay on even cantering! ha! That's pretty good for an old gal grammie like me!! The hardest part was GETTING ON!!
