FAMILY TIME

This morning we went to the sale barn to see how the sale was going and to mingle with the locals. Savannah loves going and watching! After that we went to our pen for some roping practice. The weather here has been crazy! The last week it has been cold, winter weather. Yesterday and today it was in the 70s! Supposed to turn off winter weather again tomorrow or Monday!
Savannah tracking "Pedro" on "Angel" She was so funny, she was really enjoying it!
Me and "Willis" getting in some roping training! Notice Savannah in this picture she is practing her dally skills! She was telling me she was gonna gett the heels! LOL!
Love this pic! She had gotten down and let her and "Angel" into the return alley and was getting back on!
She yelled over at me and said look Mom, and then proceeds to do various trick riding moves!

Well not to be outdone by her, I had to do it too! "Willis" did great for his first time! I really don't know where she gets this from! LOL! She even challenged her Daddy, but he wasn't about to stand up on his horse! Party poop er! :)

Ha...where would Savannah get that from!! LOL...she's got a great horse there and Willis is coming along nicely too.

I can't say that I've ever stood on a horse before...not even as a kid that I can remember...do you think it's too late to start?!?!? Ah what the heck...I'll give it a go this spring!

Your little Cowgirl is so cute!! IT's so neat that she has such a great horse to ride around on!! She is such a dare devil. I love it!!

The weather has been super crazy here too!! It was 77 degrees the other day!! All our animals were sweating like crazy.

I just wish all our water would dry up, it's been so wet here.

We drove to Houston yesterday and got stuck in traffic in Vidor for forever!! It was 12 am and we got stuck in the same spot for 1.5 hours! Ugh!! It's the holidays!!

What a cute little cowgirl.
I have to admit, I'm not as brave as the two of you. Saddles are for sitting! lol

Oh my what fun! Savannah is just so adorable! What a brave girl! Yes, and you too Mom! heehee! If I tried that I would probably tip my horse over. Buddy was my biggest horse, I should have tried it on him!

I always love your WW pictures. The kitty looks so comfy!

70* eh? How about -5*, that's what we have this morning! Yikes! Makes your nose hairs freeze! Will sure have to bundle up for church!

I want Pedro! He is sooooooo cute with those big ears!

Merry Christmas to you all! xoxo

Savannah is so cute! I just want to squeeze her!

I'm glad you're getting a break from winter weather. We haven't seen the ground in over a week and it doesn't look like we will until after the first of the year. This is not what western Washington weather is supposed to be about.

Oh ya! how did the sale go? And was this cows or horses, both, livestock in general. Us dumb Washingtonians want to know!!

Lucky you on thw eather - minus 17 here this morning.

Super cute kid and a chip off the old block! Seriously, you know Angel is worth her weight in gold, right?

Oh, yeah...I'm with dad! I tried standing up once and never could go all the way up. I'll stick to, "Look Ma, no hands!", thank you very much :)

Well to answer the questions left: Yes I know "Angel" is worth her weight in gold! She totally rock, I love her so much! I do everything on her and I trust her with my baby! She is so good with her. If you notice when she is standing on her she is almost asleep, so relaxed!

The sale was good~cows are down to 50-60 cent a pound and they were selling raines for 10 cent a pound. That is bad when you are talking what cows used to be! There were no horses there! There were goats but we left before they started them!

We are no longer wearing short sleeves! It hit last night and the temp just fell out! :O On a good note I got to try my new camo down coat hubby bought me! It is sweet and very warm!

Well, good luck with that weather. We're not sending anything good from this direction I can tell you and it just keeps getting worse!

I had to laugh KDW--cause I should have posted in that post that the temps on Friday here were in the low 80's ;) Didnt cool off here until last night, when it hit a low around 28....

Love yas! Give the horses all a big rub, and Savannah a BIG hug from me!!
