"ANGEL" UPDATE

She came through surgery great and is recovering in her stall. Said she probably would have alittle swelling. Will be able to pick her up in the morning and they will give me her discharge instructions. I'm so glad it is over and she did well. I love our vet and his whole staff, they truly understand and care for the animals. Thanks to you all for your kind words and prayers! I'll keep you posted on her recovery. I'm now going to lay down and take care of myself! I went to the doctor this morning and I have a ear infection! So she started me on antibiotics and ear drops.

Yep, Momma, we MUST take care of ourselves now and then. So be sure that Little Wonderful Cowgirl is sweet and helps you out some! ;)

I hope you get to feeling better.

When we were in Ft. Worth last month I looked for you at the TFCC finals so I could introduce myself but I didn't see you. There was a good crowd, where you there?

Blessings,
Jaci

Yay!
I don't know what its like there but around here its pretty hard to find a decent horse vet. I have one (found her a couple years ago) and LOVE her. Its a bonus that she also rides and has her own horses, she just *gets* stuff that non-owner vets can't get.

Hope your ear infection is better soon. I've been getting them off and on for the last few years and when they're bad they are nasty.

Oh I have missed a lot-glad you guys had a wonderful Christmas. Love your family photo!!!

I'm glad to hear the Angel is recovering well. I hope she heals good and that it doesn't come back.

Take care of yourself and I hope that ear infection clears up quickly.

Soooooo happy to hear that she came through the surgery fine!!!! It's so hard when one of our four legged family members are hurting, we wish we could hurt for them. You take care of yourself, ear infections are no fun. Love the picture of you and Angel, you both are beautiful!!

Good to hear that Angel is doing well! I have that bond with Beamer that you have with Angel and would be a puddle of tears if anything happened to him. So now that you aren't stressed about your mare, take care of yourself! Get better soon!

Whew! So glad to hear the news! This sounds crazy, but everytime one of us starts to even complain about something funky in the ear, I put peroxide in it. I haven't had an ear infection in the house for about eight years! More to the story but true!

Will pray for quick healing!
