IKE PICTURES

Savannah and Shelby playing in our water in the pasture! They were having a blast!
Down tree, going to see how bad the damage is to the fence~! This is at the back of our pasture.
Not bad at all~just 2 strands. So dad and his little helper fixed it! Of course I supervised and took pics! Tried not to get carried away by the mosquitoes! Holy cow they were bad last night!!

Our barn~the feed room side. Called and spoke with our insurance company this morning and they don't want us to do anything to it, until the adjuster comes out.
Harry's Building Supply in downtown Troup lost it's roof! Troup is out of school today as downtown still is without power. **Savannah went with our neighbor's to see them lift the roof~not sure were they are going to put it!**

Let us continue to lift up all the many families that were touched by Ike. My goodness the devastation that Ike caused is indescribable. We are counting our blessings and know how fortunate we were. I'm so glad to be hearing from all you fellow bloggers out there that was in Ike's path as well.

I am glad everyone is okay. Your poor feed room!! It really tore it up!! Hopefully the adjustor will bet there soon. My friend in Ohio said that Ike went through her town up there with some high winds and they were without power today. Ike had some serious winds!!

Nothing like a good puddle to play in!

Hope you don't have to wait forever to get an adjuster out there.

Glad to hear you made it throught the storm! I wasn't sure where exactly you were in Texas, just hoping you weren't near the storm.

Luckily you only lost part of the barn, and you don't have to rebuild the whole thing :D

It was a heck of a storm huh? We didn't have any damage but lots of trees down and no electricity. All in all we were very fortunate.

I hope the adjusters get there quick. There's nothing worse than having to wait to get things fixed.

I am so glad to hear that you all faired relatively well. Bummer about the barn, but as you said..thank goodness the horses weren't in there.
That roof picture is amazing...think of the strength of the wind that just lifted the whole thing up and moved it like that. Pretty scary really.

Thank God you are all okay. I dont think that there has ever been such a far-reaching storm. I read this morning that Chicago was getting hit with rain from the storm.

It's hard for me to imagine what it's like living in the path of hurricanes; I think I'd pray a lot to my guardian angel to keep us from harm!
