My husband's favorite

I finally got my memory card to Walmart and got a cd made of all the pictures on there!! I love my digital camera, but the memory card holds so many pictures, I just keep using it and wind up with 200+ pictures on it! My husband was going through them and showed me a picture that he says is one of his favorites. It is with our daughter at one of her Ranch Rodeos this past season. They did not know I took the picture and you capture the whole moment in it. One of the events at her rodeos was Muttin Bustin (that is where you have to ride the sheep). She was not wanting to do it and Dad was talking to her about why and explaining to her she did not have to if she did not want to. You can see compassion he has for his "baby girl." He has called her that since day 1! I am truly blessed to have a wonderful loving daddy for our children. He loves both of them dearly and is always supportive. Thanks honey for being a awesome Daddy!!!!! We love you bunches!!!

KID'S RANCH RODEOS'

Savannah and the goat flipping!!

Jake and "Preacher" ready to go! Several of his rodeos it got dark, so the pictures are not that good!
Jake and his team mates: Seth, Hunter and Colter. They are showing off the bling bling belts they won! You can not miss my son and his purple tall top boots!!!

Both Savannah and Jake were in Ranch Rodeos this past year. I came across a few of the pictures and wanted to share them with you all. They each did a great job. Jake was riding his new horse "Preacher" and Savannah was riding her horse "Pesky". They each won great awards from buckles, headstalls, belts, etc. But they both learned alot about working with there horses and teamwork. We are very proud of them and all they accomplished. They are both looking forward to this next season starting. Great job Jake and Savannah we are very proud of you both!!! :) Love Mom & Dad

HAPPY BIRTHDAY "ANGEL"

HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY "ANGEL!" She is my horse and my favorite girl! Horses are such graceful, beautiful creatures and I am blessed that I have the honor to be around them. I have been riding her for about 2 years now. We had bought her for my son, but they could not get along. So I started riding her and we fit each other so well. One thing about her is she prefers women over men! And I think that is why she and my son did not get along. I am blessed to have such a great horse, she and I were made for each other. I enjoy every minute I spend with her and the boys!! (They may sound bad, but the boys are the other 3 horses!!! "Pesky", "Roan" and "Preacher") We have done all sorts of events including Team Sorting, Women's Ranch Rodeos, play days, pasture work, etc. I found a poem I wanted to share with you and I also found something my husband sent to me as well. My husband has always said he should be jealous of the horses, since I spend so much time with them. Really he is grateful that I take care of everything to do with them. I hope you enjoy as I share my passion with you. And to many more birthdays and happy days together "Angel!!"

AS I SIT UPON MY HORSE

I sit upon my horse
And gaze at the field
A field of rippling grass
Blowing in the wind

I sit upon my horse
And gaze at the sky
A clear blue sky
Filled with clouds

I sit upon my horse
And gaze at the sun
A yellow sun up high
Shinning on my face

I sit upon my horse
And gaze at this world
A world fashioned,
Created by my God.

**I have always said it is such a awesome feeling to be loping out across the pasture with my horse. The wind in your hair, the noise there hooves make, it is so surreal. That is probably when I feel closet to the Lord. It is such a hard feeling to describe. I am blessed to have these loving creatures to share my time with**

This is a article my husband emailed to me, and his reply was "You have all the symptoms and getting worse by the minute!"

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

I wanted to send out a Valentine wish for everyone and was torn what it would be. This morning I was on the Internet and found this poem and knew it was the one. I wanted us to remember the first love. The love Jesus has for each and everyone of us when he died on the cross. My Valentine prayer is for each of us to remember the first love of Jesus and continue to grow with Him and His word. Also to remember each one of our family and friends, remember to tell them you love them and how special they are to you. As we never know when we will be called home to be with the Lord. I want each of you to know how special you are to me and that I love you. I want to see each and everyone of you in Heaven. "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one more than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends. " (John 15:12-13)

A VALENTINE FROM JESUS

I love you.
You are mine.
Your name is written upon My heart.
Your prayers are precious to Me.
Your life is in My hands.
I am always with you.
I am nearer to you than your own heart.
I gave My life so that you might live forever with Me.
All I ask in return is your love.

Be My Valentine,
~JESUS~

P.S. "You are precious in my sight, and honored, and I love you." Isaiah 43:4
